Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
This contract covers a base 100-seat Enterprise package plus ways to grow it. The 100 Seats - Enterprise dimension sets your starting seat count with organization-level controls and support. As your team grows, you add capacity through the Additional Enterprise User dimension, priced per user. User True Up reconciles seats added during the term so billing matches actual members. On Demand Usage Charges cover metered activity beyond your seats, such as automation that runs on usage credits. Seat-based dimensions scale with headcount, while on-demand charges scale with actual usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A seat is a license for one member to use your workspace. Guests you invite to individual pages are free and do not use a seat. New members take an open seat if available; otherwise your paid seat count rises by one.
On-demand charges cover metered automation run by Custom Agents. These agents run on Notion credits, and each run consumes credits based on how much work the agent does. Admins track this in the credits dashboard. If credits run out, agents pause until more are added.
When you add members during the term, seats added mid-cycle create prorated charges based on time left in the billing period. Removing a member frees a seat you can reassign without extra cost. At each renewal, your paid seat count resyncs to match actual members.

sometimes it's a bit laggy and we can be limited by the free tier

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's interface, and the way it allows integration with other tools like Slack and Google Calendar. I also appreciate that Notion helps me set goals and track whether I've achieved them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion was kinda hard to get used to at first, especially in the initial two days, as things were a bit messy for me. It's just a lot of taps I need to click on. Having some proper training provided by Notion would be amazing. Also, on the left sidebar, it would be great to be able to mark recents, private, team space, and that kind of stuff with different colors of your choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to integrate with Slack and Google Calendar and to set and track personal goals.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's clean, minimal interface which makes managing and keeping documents straightforward. It helps me create clean, crisp documents that don't feel overwhelming, unlike Google Docs which can look very raw. I appreciate the support for different tools like Mermaid and flowcharts for easy integration. The platform is also great for collaboration; the ability to comment and directly discuss documents with my team, like the technical design, inside Notion itself is very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion's copy-paste functionality is a bit of a pain. When I try to copy and paste from AI tools like Claude or GPT, the content doesn't render correctly, so I always need to use the import function instead. This makes it a hassle. I've installed an MCP to move content with a single prompt, but they really need to improve the direct copy-paste functionality to handle markdown formats better. Also, the initial setup wasn't totally simple; it took a bit of time to feel familiar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me create crisp, clean documents with an easy-to-use interface. It organizes my tasks efficiently, and the collaboration features like comments make it simple to discuss tasks with my team.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Notion to organize my day-to-day tasks and finances. It's also great for organizing projects in my organization. What stands out to me are the various templates and types of views available for these templates, which allow me to structure tasks effectively. Also, its integration with Google Calendar is incredibly useful for scheduling tasks with precise dates, making it a valuable tool for keeping everything in one place and properly organized.

Sometimes, Notion can feel messy and chaotic because it has a lot of features and windows. I think it would help if everything could be simplified and organized into a dashboard.
