Direct Publishing and Social Listening That Save Time
Reviewed on Sep 21, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Direct publishing and social listening are two features I really appreciate. I love being able to tune into conversations about my clients and better understand the sentiment behind what people are saying. Direct publishing also saves me a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics don’t always match up with the native platforms, which makes it tricky to verify which numbers are correct. It also creates duplicate work when I have to check multiple sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is definitely a time-saver. The automation features are incredibly helpful, especially for analytics and for sending monthly updates directly to clients.

Unique Social Media Metrics Integration with Great Performance and AI Ease
Reviewed on Sep 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It’s interesting how it creates metrics from social media and also integrates them with other information. I haven’t seen this feature in other tools; I remember needing a specific tool just to gather information from social media. The performance is really great, and now that AI is everywhere, it helps you do things more easily, which is the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ll focus on what you can improve to make this a more competitive tool. It’s important to run a demo for potential customers and clearly explain the strongest features the tool offers. You should also put more emphasis on pricing and ROI, because in the end, big companies are looking for tools that can reduce the costs of their services. And If they found another company offering a cheaper tool that can do the same of course they will migrate to that, also never forget the performance of the tool, because that made that the company search another tool to satisfy this part, at some point we have too many dashboards that run everyday or weekly, etc, the performance was affected on the tool so for that the migration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Hootsuite, it was difficult to manage content consistently across multiple social media platforms. Publishing meant constantly switching between accounts, which made planning ahead, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance unnecessarily time-consuming.
Now we can schedule posts in advance, manage all our channels from a single, centralized dashboard, and use analytics to see which content performs best. As a result, our posting is more consistent, there’s less manual work, and we’re able to respond to our audience more quickly and efficiently.

Easy Post Planning and Engagement Tracking All in One Place
Reviewed on Sep 17, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to plan post and track all the engagement in one place. The best part it is easy to understand. All platforms being managed in one place makes it super helpful and reduces work time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This can get pretty expensive but great tools. Not all platforms work properly for Hootsuite. Can be a ton of information in one place if you aren’t used to looking at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reduces the tack on social media that I have. Even when I forget to post or do something Hootsuite always has it covered with notifications and alerts.

Great for Collaboration and Reporting, but Pricing and UI Labels Need Work
Reviewed on Sep 16, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to host all of our channels in one system helps to prevent us from wasting times bouncing between native channels. Being able to collaborate with members of our team to create and work on drafts for copy allows us to give feedback deliberate feedback, including when working remotely.
The insights and reports we can access from one system saves manually pulling data from individual platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have found that content can compress when uploaded and published through this system and does not always display correctly onto the channel. Pricing is pretty expensive per seat.
The use of "clever" names like "perch" on the menu is not intuitive and creates an extra barrier when using the platform. I don't want to have to figure out where I should be going because the menu uses clever names - it should be obvious and easy.

We used to publish via the native social media channels and would need to bounce between the individual apps, or websites, to deliver campaigns. Since using Hootsuite, we can seamlessly manage a campaign from one individual platform.
The listening feature enables us to keep across the sentiment for topics we are focused on and creates opportunities beyond just social media, including comms and PR.
Inboxes, comments and engagement can also be monitored from an individual platform rather than jumping between different systems.

Does the job.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to connect to all social platforms. Hashtags and tags work when you schedule a post within the platform. Images and other inspiration also available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is very old and clunky and I would say it’s pretty outdated compared to other similar software that can do social media management. Not really any differentiators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to connect multiple accounts and post to all the different platforms. Having a full calendar and opportunities to engage with your audiences live and scheduled.

Intrusive AI Overshadows Otherwise Solid Social Media Scheduling and Comment Management
Reviewed on Sep 16, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It does everything I need it to do as a social media manager. I can schedule posts and edit them easily between platforms, move posts around when I need to on the planner, and I really like being able to see and manage comments within the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of AI on the platform that I find quite intrusive. I would like to be able to opt out of the AI so that it doesn't appear at all, and I can turn it on if I ever change my mind
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to keep track of all of our clients in one place, schedule their content and see how posts are performing across each platform, which helps with reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Having all of my social media tools in one place, instead of having to go into them separately. It's a huge time saver, and greatly increases productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had plans that allowed you to customize what features you wanted - basically pick and choose features, rather than having to pick one of their pre-set plans, that can get a little pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share across teams and departments help ensure that everyone is involved in the process, which has helped improve the performance of the accounts.

Great At-a-Glance Dashboard, Though Platform Analytics Go Deeper
Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great 'at-a-glance' product that can provide an easy to understand dashboard for folks who aren't as deeply invested in analytics and ROI as the specialists within marketing offices. It is wildly helpful in meetings with supervisors or people on the leadership team to review and understand quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to the data you can get by logging into each social platform, it is somewhat limited. Obviously there is more to be gained by using each of them individually, but that's not really the point of Hootsuite, so while I 'dislike' it, I'm not sure I would consider it a true drawback or a negative. That's not the point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great at-a-glance tool. It's very helpful to use for meetings with the greater marketing team. It solves the problem of individual reports per platform we are using. That saves a TON of time and allows me to pull dynamic numbers based on questions I receive on the fly.

Unified Dashboard Makes Scheduling and Monitoring Multiple Clients Effortless
Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The unified dashboard is easily the best feature, as it allows me to schedule posts and monitor multiple client streams all in one place. It handles basic bulk scheduling quite well, which saves a lot of manual clicking when setting up a month's worth of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing has become quite steep for what it offers, especially when it comes to enterprise features and multi-user collaboration. Managing seats and permissions for a larger team feels unnecessarily clunky, and the interface can feel heavy and slow compared to more modern, streamlined alternatives. Additionally, many advanced analytics features are locked behind high-tier paywalls, which hurts the overall value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the chaos of juggling multiple social media accounts by centralizing everything into one platform. The biggest benefit to me is efficiency and consistency; being able to schedule campaigns in advance and monitor live conversations across channels ensures our brand maintains a steady, active presence without requiring 24/7 manual oversight.

Powerful Analytics for Large Orgs, but a Complex UI and Tough Costs
Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of functionality, and the analytics and reporting are quite detailed. I’ve used it in larger organisations, and I think it’s better suited to a larger org than to a startup or smaller business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is quite complicated, and it can be difficult to navigate through all the functionality. It’s also expensive, and in an era of MCPs and AI, it’s becoming increasingly hard to justify paying for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i mean the single dashboard is really a game changer for groups or teams who post across multiple social networks or platforms. It has saved me so much time overall
