    Dimensions summary

This listing uses a single custom-quote pricing dimension. You do not select from preset tiers or fixed unit prices on the Marketplace. Instead, pricing follows a quote prepared for your needs, billed under a contract. The units and totals come from the attached quote, so the structure scales with the solutions and users you include. Delivered as software as a service, operation, maintenance, and upgrades are managed by the vendor. You can start with what you need now and add more solutions or users later, with pricing adjusted through your quote.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

The quote covers software delivered as a service. Your units reflect the specific solutions and number of users you include. Because the portfolio spans many applications, the quote is built for your selection. Operation, maintenance, and upgrades are managed by the vendor and included in what the quote defines.
You can start with what you need now and add more applications or users as your business grows. Adding capacity changes the units in your quote, so pricing is adjusted through an updated quote rather than an automatic tier jump. New solutions and users are reflected in your revised contract.
The software is delivered as software as a service, hosted in the cloud. The vendor manages operation, maintenance, and upgrades as part of the service. This means the ongoing hosting and update work is included in what the quote reflects, rather than billed separately or handled by your own IT team.

Improved data retrieval has streamlined daily collaboration and project revisions

    Reviewed on Sep 20, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Siemens PLM TeamCenter for product lifecycle management for drawing creations. I utilize all of the options for create and data management, and I use that for further references to revise and implement in projects.

    What is most valuable?

The best features Siemens PLM TeamCenter offers in my experience are how easily the data can be pulled and the product restructure. When I mention how easy it is to pull data, that helps me day-to-day because I work with a large set of data and multiple projects, and it is at times difficult for me to know which data is placed where; Siemens PLM TeamCenter helps with that.

Siemens PLM TeamCenter has helped my teams and organization by making the process smoother and collaboration better. I can share a specific outcome that shows 30% of the time has been saved, but I cannot provide a metric for collaboration.

    What needs improvement?

The overall dashboard looks a bit outdated, even with the latest updates that have been provided, so if improvements can be made in that area, it will be helpful for organizations.

I think improvements are needed around usability and the graphics.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Siemens PLM TeamCenter for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Siemens PLM TeamCenter is stable in my experience.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of Siemens PLM TeamCenter is good compared to what is happening in and around the market.

How are customer service and support?

I receive customer support for Siemens PLM TeamCenter very rarely since everything is inbuilt, and every single problem has a solution provided on the website. I would rate the customer support ten on a scale of one to ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used PTC Windchill in a previous company and switched due to an organizational change.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is mostly taken care of by the IT team, but I think it is still at a competitive price compared to other software.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Siemens PLM TeamCenter, I did not evaluate other options as it was company provided, so I did not have an option to choose.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Siemens PLM TeamCenter an eight out of ten. I chose eight out of ten because it is helping in many ways for the organizations as well as the users; it is user-friendly, but it also needs a few improvements compared to other PLM software available in the market.

Regarding Siemens PLM TeamCenter's AI capabilities, I think its governance and security are good; security-wise, I have been working with many CFTs and suppliers and I have never faced an issue in these aspects.

The accuracy and reliability of Siemens PLM TeamCenter's AI output are at times a bit confusing with AI as I have earlier knowledge within me, but it is much helpful; I can rate it around ninety percent for this AI output.

My advice to others looking into using Siemens PLM TeamCenter is to suggest formal training from the PLM TeamCenter team before working on it. My overall review rating for Siemens PLM TeamCenter is eight.

    Easy-to-Use, Market-Leading PLM with Strong In-House Integrations

    Reviewed on Sep 18, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
This is a leading PLM solution in the market, and most integrations are handled in-house. It’s easy to use and helps me manage my data from a single, centralized location.
    Active Workspace is added advantages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it’s a generic PLM tool, many industry-specific use cases aren’t supported out of the box, which means it often requires customization and additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me manage a central data system as a single source of truth across our organization, and it acts as our digital backbone.

Siemens Teamcenter: A Central Source of Truth That Streamlines Global Collaboration

    Reviewed on Aug 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Siemens Teamcenter is its ability to provide a single, centralized source of truth for product data across the entire product lifecycle. It helps engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other teams collaborate using controlled and up-to-date information.

Its strong BOM management, workflow and change management, document control, CAD integration, traceability, and role-based access make complex product development processes much easier to manage. Teamcenter is especially valuable for large organizations because it improves collaboration, reduces errors caused by disconnected data, and supports better governance across global teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Teamcenter is that it can feel complex and difficult to learn, especially for new users. The interface and workflows often require proper training before users become comfortable and productive.

Implementation and customization can also be time-consuming and resource-intensive, particularly when integrating Teamcenter with existing ERP, CAD, MES, or legacy systems. In some environments, performance can also depend heavily on how well the system is configured and maintained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter is helping solve the problem of disconnected product data, manual change processes, version-control issues, and limited collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams.

By centralizing product information, BOMs, documents, workflows, and engineering changes in one system, it provides better traceability and ensures teams are working with the latest approved data. This helps reduce errors and rework, improves cross-functional collaboration, speeds up change and approval cycles, and gives better visibility across the product lifecycle. Overall, it improves operational efficiency and supports more consistent, controlled product development.

Best PLM I have ever used

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the AWC part of TC. It’s very user-friendly and feels tailor-made for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lag sometimes. Could because we use a custom made version integrated with Creo. Also, the dependencies on references while deleting an item from TC is a nightmare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data storage and workflow management are the primary issues that TC solves for me. TC lets me run our business procedure and approvals fine and good.

Teamcenter feels like a global hub for the entire company. It records everything about a product, including classification, version control, approval stages, PI, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter does require a steep learning curve because of the variety of features it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Teamcenter along with NX. I work in NX, and Teamcenter records everything from prototype to production, including the approval stages, version control, and classification.
