What do you like best about the product?

I like being able to use the actors and established scripts on the website without a lot of tedious parameter setup. I can connect the actor, reuse my pre-established parameters via API and MCP, and then I’m off to the races running batch jobs.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can occasionally be hit or miss with certain actors, especially those with lower token utilization. That lower token utilization also suggests they haven’t been fully vetted, per se, which likely explains the lower token cost.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m using Apify to build multi-step MCP connections and enrich business intelligence profiles. This has helped us strengthen our ICP polling and establish clearer TAM benchmarks.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy to use and reliable. Prebuilt scraping actors are awesome

What do you dislike about the product?

Tracking billing per usecase is hard, so i cannot split the billing across multiple usecases.

Using apify to get public instagram data. Integration was super easy to set up, their APIs are nicely designed.

What do you like best about the product?

The Google Maps / Business Profile Actor is the one I use most. I run a web design and marketing agency, and I pull GBP data (reviews, ratings, categories, photos, missing info) to build audit reports for local businesses. It gives me structured data in minutes that would take hours to collect by hand.

What do you dislike about the product?

The platform isn't very beginner-friendly. The Store is powerful but overwhelming if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Simple visual entry points, like icons for Websites, Instagram and Facebook that expand into the relevant Actors, would help a lot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast, repeatable GBP audits that I use as a sales tool to show prospects what's missing on their listing.

Apify is easy to use, performance has been good, and I appreciate their generosity. I use it for account scraping and information gathering for data and performance insights. It is easy to find what I need.

The Actor and provider shop could be clearer. I would like the available Actors and their providers to be presented more clearly.

I’ve been using Apify scrapers for a while now, and the overall experience has been really good. What I like most is how quickly you can go from having a scraping requirement to actually getting usable data without having to build everything from scratch.

The main downside is that pricing can add up for high-volume scraping, but overall Apify makes scraping much easier and saves a lot of development time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

In this modern era of AI, Apify is solving the biggest problem, which is data, and Apify makes data collection so easy. I am using its API in one of my projects for competitor analysis.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Apify because it handles proxy management behind the scenes, so I don’t have to worry about IP bans or maintaining proxy pools myself. I also value the huge marketplace of prebuilt actors, which means I don’t have to build and maintain custom scrapers. I can just find a ready-made one and have it running immediately. The MCP integration is also a big plus, letting me trigger Apify actors directly from AI assistants like Claude or Cursor. The initial setup was surprisingly quick, and it’s extremely easy for a small team, which was a pleasant surprise.

What do you dislike about the product?

Pricing is a little high and the interface is very technical. Error logs during failed runs are also too technical. Some prebuilt actors break silently when target websites update their layout. The technical nature of Apify's interface creates two distinct friction points for me: it slows down troubleshooting and adds friction to trusting prebuilt actors. When an actor fails, the logs are overwhelming rather than helpful, but overall, everything works pretty nice.

Apify solves web scraping infrastructure issues, handling proxy management, anti-bot measures, and scheduling. It bridges the data-to-automation gap and offers a marketplace of prebuilt actors, reducing the need for custom scrapers.

What do you like best about the product?

my experience with Apify, it makes web data extraction very seamless and it is also surprisingly quite affordable to get those data. i love that it provides the option of building your own actors from scratch that you can then tailor to whatsoever task that you want (In my case, Content strategy and research). and it has a whole app store that provides ready to use actors for various tasks. i even saw actors for tasks that I didn't even know were possible to automate even tough I still didn't end up using them because they weren't relevant to my goal. but in essence, it's a well built platform and the experience is amazing.

What do you dislike about the product?

For me, it's the learning curve. I'd say it's somewhat steep especially for new or first time users. This is what I personally experienced. proper especially with the configuration setup and the interface being overwhelming at first but very detailed so I found it actually helpful the more I got used to it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used to struggle to manually track trending topics, analyze competitor content, keyword, and research for our blog posts, which took hours away from actual writing. With Apify, I now use their Actors to automatically scrape google search results, and google trends data on a scheduled basis. This automated research pipeline feeds directly into my workflow, saving me over around 10 hours a week and allowing me to focus more on publishing the actual content.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most is how easy Apify makes it to connect AI agents with real data sources. With the MCP Server and the large number of ready-to-use Actors, we can test new workflows quickly without building a separate integration for every data source.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes it can be difficult to choose the right Actor because there are several similar options, and their quality can vary. It often takes some testing to understand which one works best for a specific task.

Apify helps us automate data collection for lead generation and research. Instead of building custom scrapers and integrations for every source, we can use existing Actors and connect them directly to our AI workflows through MCP. This saves development time and makes it much faster to test new data sources and automation ideas.

The Actor store covers many common sources, runs are easy to start, and the MCP server makes it practical to pull structured data from AI workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main watch-outs are Actor pricing at higher volume and occasional scraper flakiness when sites change, so runs may need monitoring or retries.
