The wide range of options for building Salesforce data analytics, especially with sales data.

The transition from Tableau Server to the Tableau Next platform isn’t very intuitive, and I found the overall experience harder to navigate than I expected.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about Tableau is its ability to turn complex data into clear, interactive visualizations that are easy for business users to understand. The dashboards make it easier to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and make data-driven decisions without relying heavily on technical teams. I also like the flexibility to connect and analyze data from multiple sources and create dashboards tailored to different business needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

The learning curve can be a little steep for new users, especially when building more advanced dashboards, calculations, or data models. Managing data sources and maintaining complex dashboards can also require significant effort as reporting needs grow. It would be helpful to have more intuitive guidance and simpler administration for common use cases.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tableau helps solve the challenge of turning large and complex datasets into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and visualizations. It makes it easier to track KPIs, identify trends, and share information with business stakeholders without requiring them to work directly with raw data.

For me, it helps reduce the time spent manually analyzing and presenting data, improves visibility into business performance, and supports faster, more data-driven decisions. It also makes it easier to communicate insights across teams in a format that business users can quickly understand.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate how easy it is to connect to various data sources, and how the platform lets me display that data in multiple clear, readable formats. This is valuable for leadership and helps with understanding company insights, which can ultimately support refinement and growth.

What do you dislike about the product?

At the moment, I don’t really dislike anything about Tableau.

It helps us understand our data, refine it, and present it through dashboards that make the information clear, legible, and useful for making business decisions across the organization.

Tableau is an excellent data visualization platform, offering intuitive dashboards, powerful analytics, and seamless data integration. It makes complex information easy to understand and supports informed, data-driven decisions.

Tableau can have a steep learning curve for beginners, especially when creating advanced calculations and dashboards. Some users also find licensing costs relatively high, particularly for smaller teams or organizations with limited budgets.

Visualization of reports and dashboards are out of the box Salesforce cant provide

It connects to multiple data sources, and the visualization are very intuitive. Easy to build and easy to understand.

There are a lot of options and it confuse as our customers at times

Implemented for our customers across various industries and they use it for their day-to-day operational reporting and marrying Datta across multiple platforms to get a complete 360 view of their health of their enterprise

Loading large dataset takes more time than running a query in backend

Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports are easy to hike
