What do you like best about the product?

I like how Barracuda Email Protection blocks spam effectively. Also, the initial setup was easy, which I appreciate.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes emails get blocked, and the notifications are sent out too slow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Barracuda Email Protection effectively blocks spam, which enhances security and reduces unwanted emails in my company.

What do you like best about the product?

Superb phishing and impersonation protection that's clever enough to catch the ball before it's intercepted by end users. Helps us to focus on other tasks at hand, knowing that Barracuda has our backs.

What do you dislike about the product?

Legitimate emails can be held in quarantine more often than needed. Causing headaches for end users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Giving us more time during the day. Performs well with volume and overall, reasonably priced in comparison with other protection competitors.

What do you like best about the product?

Sender Authentication features like DMARC, DKIM and SPF blocks are easy to setup and offer realtime protection and stops many unwanted emails. I can easily add exemptions to domains if necessary. Also the quarantine digest emails from Barracuda are a saviour for administrators time and resources to release emails as users can do this themselves.

What do you dislike about the product?

Users by default cannot release bulk messages that have not been delivered to their inbox when they access their quarantine digest message from Barracuda. I spend much time releasing these bulk emails and I think if Barracuda can allow the user to manually release these, with perhaps a warning of the potential risks involved, would save administrators time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves Phishing Attacks, BEC (using its own AI and behavioral analysis to detect these impersonation attempts), Account takeovers by sending alerts to administrators. Barracuda One has all the products on one platform and its centralised for monitoring, reporting and remediation rather than using multiple consoles and management products. Furthermore, the EMEA support is excellent. If I raise a ticket the Barracuda support jump on it very quickly and the problem is resolved without much delay.

if you have access to the mails, you can read all mails > not possible to disable the view of the body

It's easy to navigate and find emails, especially those that were blocked due to various reasons.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can be a little slow to use, the domain level function is also frustrating but that's down to how our instance was set up.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's blocking 100s of emails every hour! It is also easy to block domains and the system has better integration with the other modules in the suite.

What do you like best about the product?

We've been using Barracuda solutions to help protect and manage our Microsoft 365 environment, and the experience has been very positive. Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup gives us peace of mind knowing our Microsoft 365 data is protected and recoverable if needed. The interface is straightforward, backups run reliably, and restoring data is simple when issues arise.

What do you dislike about the product?

The reporting and visibility into backup status make it easy to confirm that critical data is being protected. That said, I do wish the filtering were a bit more refined and easier to use. Other than that, I haven’t run into any issues while using this product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The number of spam and spoofed emails that have been blocked has been great, helping minimize attacks that could make users vulnerable.

The UI is very easy to understand and the options which allow us to add or remove or control the domain is quite easy

I quite noticed even we allow some domains and allow under exception and request report we still see the emails in spam for that particular domain, not everytime but often i see

The sales agents and other software products sales emails which we have asked to exempt is very beneficial

What do you like best about the product?

It does a solid job filtering out spam, phishing attempts, and other potentially harmful emails before they ever reach the user.

The GUI/management interface is also straightforward, which makes it easy to review blocked messages, investigate incidents, and adjust policies as needed. Onboarding is also straightforward and there is lots of documentation available if needed.

Overall, it strikes a good balance between strong security and day-to-day ease of management.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some of the more advanced settings and policies can take a little time to fully understand and configure correctly. Overall, the interface is easy to use, but figuring out why a particular email was blocked or allowed can sometimes mean digging through multiple logs and working through several filtering options.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Well, it mainly helps us deal with spam, phishing and other unwanted or suspicious emails. It filters a lot of this stuff before it gets to the users, so there is less risk of someone clicking something they shouldn't. It also saves us some time since we don't have to manually deal with as many suspicious emails. The pricing is also relatively fair which we appreciate.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Barracuda Email Protection has a user-friendly UI that’s easy to maneuver. It also provides clear, detailed descriptions of blocked emails, so it’s simple to see which messages were blocked or quarantined and why, all in one place.

I really appreciate the option to unblock and whitelist domains. That makes it easy to approve safe emails that were mistakenly blocked going forward, and it helps prevent us from having to involve IT every time a legitimate email gets caught.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main thing I dislike is that legitimate emails can occasionally be blocked, which can be frustrating when an important message is delayed. However, the issue is usually easy to manage through the review and allow-listing options.

It helps reduce spam, phishing, and other unwanted emails while keeping user inbox more secure. It also makes it easier to manage blocked messages and protect important business communication.

What do you like best about the product?

Barracuda was being used in Organization for long time they has good baseline Spam and Virus/malicious content protection and threat protection

What do you dislike about the product?

it did not have AI automation support and granular machine learning support. Did not have Human Risk management, Price Hikes with no additional security features was reason we left them. administration control required training.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

we are not using Barracuda anymore
