What do you like best about the product?

CloudKeeper is a great tool, and it has saved our organization a significant amount of money on our monthly AWS bill. In addition, the support we’ve received from our account team has been excellent. They’ve made several recommendations for changes to our AWS infrastructure, both from a security standpoint and from a cost-saving standpoint.

What do you dislike about the product?

Using CloudKeeper can make account provisioning more difficult than it otherwise would be. We have several accounts (over 20) tied to CloudKeeper, and now that they are all listed as "Applications" instead of accounts, it makes it more complicated than using the normal identity center.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cost savings is the main problem CloudKeeper solves. But they have also been great for helping us identify misconfigurations and security gaps

The cost graphs and the proposals for reducing costs.

What do you dislike about the product?

You can’t integrate with MCP if you have multiple accounts, which is really frustrating. Overall, this is very bad.

The reports provide a full picture of the costs.

What I like best about CloudKeeper is the combination of useful AWS cost visibility and proactive support.

The team regularly helps us identify unexpected changes in cloud spend and provides practical recommendations for optimisation, rather than simply reporting on costs. CK Lens is also useful for drilling into spend and managing cost allocation in a way that makes it easier to understand where our AWS budget is going.

The support team has been particularly valuable. On one occasion they took ownership of an unexpected AWS billing issue, worked directly with AWS on our behalf, followed it through over several weeks and ultimately secured a full adjustment of the charges.

We've also benefited from more in-depth optimisation reviews of some of our larger AWS workloads, with specific technical recommendations around architecture, scaling and different AWS services. That combination of tooling, proactive monitoring and access to knowledgeable people is probably where we've seen the most value.

What do you dislike about the product?

There isn't anything major that I dislike, but some of the communication can be a little persistent, particularly around follow-ups and feedback requests.

Some optimisation recommendations also naturally require a fair amount of internal analysis before acting on them. CloudKeeper can identify potential savings opportunities, but the engineering effort, operational trade-offs and migration risk still need to be assessed carefully by your own team.

Overall, these are relatively minor points compared with the value we've had from the service.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

CloudKeeper helps us understand and control our AWS spend more effectively.

It gives us better visibility into where costs are coming from, highlights unexpected increases before they become bigger problems, and helps identify practical optimisation opportunities across our AWS workloads. That saves engineering time and makes cloud cost management much more proactive rather than something we only look at after receiving the bill.

The additional support is also valuable. Having a team that can help investigate billing issues, review higher-cost workloads and work directly with AWS when needed reduces the amount of time we have to spend navigating those processes ourselves.

Overall, the main benefit is better cost control, less manual effort and more confidence that we are using AWS efficiently.

Cloudkeeper is helping us to reduce our infrastructure cost and also helped us to identify root cause of S3 billing increase in the past

Dashboard with the cost explorer is best

I still don’t understand how the reserved instance cost adds up. Is it shared across AWS accounts, or only for the Raven account?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s confusing to view Cost Explorer in the native explorer, and Cloudkeeper solves that for me, I feel.

What do you like best about the product?

You get all of your accounts in one place, so you don’t have to keep checking different accounts. Managing permissions with JIT access is also great.

Text search in Cost Explorer does not work correctly.

The cost optimization recommendations are good.

Daily reports and cost alerts allowed us to quickly react to anomalous spend. Cloudkeeper discounts also were an easy win, for a lower cloud bill.

Reporting platform was a bit cumbersome with many similar tabs. There was a learning curve to getting the data or insights we needed, although once overcome, the tool was powerful.

Keeping an eye on cost optimization and spend across our AWS accounts.

We see CloudKeeper as our go-to partner whenever we have a question or run into an issue. Whenever we get stuck, we know we can reach out to the CloudKeeper team and get the guidance and support we need to move forward.

Beyond day-to-day support, CloudKeeper has also helped us identify areas where our platform can be improved by providing valuable reports and insights. This has made the relationship more than just a support engagement, we see CloudKeeper as a true technology partner.

Their responsiveness, technical guidance, and willingness to help us continuously improve have made CloudKeeper a valuable partner for us.

We don't have any specific complaints or constructive feedback at this time. Our experience with CloudKeeper has been positive, and the team has consistently been responsive and helpful whenever we have questions or need assistance.

CloudKeeper supports us at multiple levels. At my level, the value starts with helping us manage and optimize the costs associated with our AWS environment, including the overall cost of running our infrastructure and the visibility we get into where we can improve.

They also provide a platform that gives us better visibility into our cloud usage and costs, along with reports and insights that help us identify opportunities for improvement. Beyond the platform itself, we can reach out to the CloudKeeper team when we have questions, need suggestions, or want to explore ways to optimize our environment.
