Comprehensive Asset Management with a Learning Curve

    Reviewed on Sep 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the preventive maintenance scheduling and centralized asset history of Octave Attune EAM. It's great to track every work order, part replacement, and inspection against specific equipment in one interface, which creates clear audit trails and significantly reduces unexpected downtime. I also find the PM scheduling module impactful, with its ability to configure both fixed calendar routines and condition-based triggers, allowing automatic dispatch of work orders with attached checklists and required spare parts lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial configuration and learning curve can be steep for non-technical users. Because it's an enterprise-grade platform with deep functionality, setting up custom workflows, fields, and permissions requires substantial onboarding time. The primary drawback is the steep learning curve during the initial rollout. Because the system is feature-rich, configuring custom workflows, permission structures, and asset trees requires dedicated administrative effort, and field technicians needed several guided training sessions before feeling comfortable with day-to-day navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Octave Attune EAM for centralized asset tracking, lifecycle management, and preventive maintenance, moving away from reactive fixes to condition-based routines, significantly reducing downtime.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Octave Attune EAM is how it integrates advanced technologies to make asset management smarter and more reliable. The embedded AI assistant reduces complexity by guiding users with prescriptive actions, while mobile access ensures continuity and accurate records in the field. Its digital twin capabilities provide a single, spatially aware source of truth, allowing teams to plan and execute maintenance with precision. Predictive and condition-based maintenance further minimize downtime by addressing issues before they escalate, cutting unnecessary preventive work. Compliance is simplified through built-in calibration and audit-ready tracking, reducing risk and ensuring standards are met. Overall, Octave Attune EAM stands out because it doesn’t just manage assets—it transforms them into strategic drivers of efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. This combination of intelligence, mobility, and compliance makes it a powerful tool for modern enterprises.
What do you dislike about the product?
    Complex setup

Users find the initial configuration difficult, especially when migrating from older systems.

Requires significant training and adjustment before teams can use it effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional maintenance often waits for breakdowns. Attune EAM uses AI and analytics to predict failures before they occur. Many organizations struggle with fragmented asset data across systems. Attune EAM unifies information with digital twin technology.

Benefit: A single source of truth improves decision-making and transparency.

What do you like best about the product?
Shift to Proactive Maintenance, Built-in Compliance & Auditing, Scalable Data Integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex Setup & Configuration: Initial data migration, asset hierarchy mapping, and aligning legacy workflows require significant technical effort and often specialized IT of which I have a background in electrical engineering. App & Sync Limitations: The mobile experience for field personnel can feel slower than the web application, with occasional performance lag or synchronization friction during offline site work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unplanned Equipment Downtime.. Prevents sudden breakdowns by transitioning teams from reactive repairs to automated preventive and condition-based maintenance.

Powerful Maintenance Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

    Reviewed on Sep 02, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Octave Attune EAM primarily for tracking equipment maintenance schedules and managing work orders across operations. What stands out most is its robust preventive maintenance scheduling and centralized asset history. These features make the platform valuable in two main ways: predictable maintenance and complete audit & repair trails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the steep learning curve and the interface of Octave Attune EAM challenging. The mobile app has limitations and the reporting and configuration could be improved. The desktop interface feels dated and overly complex as technicians often have to click through multiple nested menus and fields just to update a simple work order or log parts used. Additionally, the initial setup is moderately complex and requires weeks or months of dedicated onboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Octave Attune EAM to track equipment maintenance schedules and manage work orders. It solves unplanned machinery downtime, scattered asset data, and inventory management issues. Its robust preventive maintenance scheduling and centralized asset history provide predictable maintenance and complete audit trails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To improve user experience, consider simplifying the interface and enhancing the mobile app's functionality. Streamlining the reporting process and offering more intuitive configuration options could also be beneficial. Providing comprehensive training resources and support during the onboarding phase would help users adapt more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Chat GPT for a very long time and it's very helpful in a lot of projects I've done. I've done CVs and scored interviews with them. I've also done invitation cards and thank you cards using it, and it has been a great journey. I've also talked to it like a friend when I was not feeling well, and it has improved my mental state and my way of thinking. I would recommend it to everyone I meet because of what it has done for me and helped me achieve, and till this day I still use it to make my life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the loading times, maybe it's my network, and also if I use it as an app, it crashes sometimes and I have to use it from my browser, and also the file limits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The upgrades have helped because I can save work from the Chat GPT and I don't worry much about having it misplaced or deleted, and I can go back as a reference and recover my work.
