What do you like best about the product?

It provides synthesized answers with footnotes, which lets me verify facts directly. The multi-step deep dives for technical troubleshooting also give me solid solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes it doesn’t understand the problem when it’s complex. When I switch to Pro Search, it takes a long time to provide an answer, and sometimes the request never returns a response.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Deep thinking, market analysis, suggestions, and data preparation—now I don’t have to collect details from multiple web pages. I can get accurate details with a single prompt.

What do you like best about the product?

Perplexity was the first “Deep Research” solution I came across. It’s still a competitive option when I need to research a topic, and it continues to hold up well for that kind of work.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s a major lack of support. I’m also seeing an accuracy issue with the usage tracking for the agentic “Computer” feature: everything shows as zero. In the usage panel, there’s no record of me using this feature even though I did. Their AI support bot initially told me it was impossible until I shared screenshots. After that, it said it was connecting me to support, but it has been stuck on “Waiting for an agent to join” for the past 10+ hours. I also joined their discord. No answer yet. When I search for a better way to get help I just see others complaining about no support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s great for finding answers on in-depth topics, and it’s also helpful for shopping. It is very fast.

What do you like best about the product?

It is useful for the people who does research and development, the answers it gives are most accurate and useful. Also the agent helps to do any tasks automatically and saves a lot of time. The Ui/Ux is so minimal and clean useful for easy navigation. The performance is so good. The pricing can be a little better and lower.

What do you dislike about the product?

There can be more student offers and can be a little better improved in the search engine and task and the support can be improved.

The agentic browser helps to automate user requirements and can be used to interact with other services.

What do you like best about the product?

Accurate information, with source links that provide a guarantee of accuracy.

What do you dislike about the product?

In my view, it should add a Canva-like setup, which would be helpful for coding-related work where formatting matters a lot.

This is saving a lot of time in the creation of research papers and their sources are really helpful to quote.

Clear and straightforward search, and most importantly fact checking makes the results reliable and trustworthy

Not much. Perhaps the switch to computer (using tokens) happening sometimes without noticing, when I sometimes just aim for simple searchs.

I made Comet (Perplexity) my primary browser: use it for quick searches systematically. Good integration through devices, whether mobile or desktop.

What do you like best about the product?

It has completely replaced standard Google searching for my day-to-day work. Instead of opening 10 tabs, scanning through fluff, and manually compiling answers, Perplexity gives a synthesized summary with clear footnotes to the original pages right away. The Pro search feature is great when I need a multi-step dive into complex topics, and the Focus modes (like Academic or Writing) help narrow the scope so I don't get irrelevant web clutter. It essentially functions as a hyper-efficient research assistant.

What do you dislike about the product?

While citations are its core selling point, they aren't always 100% reliable. Occasionally, it generates 'phantom' citations—linking to a generic homepage or an article that doesn't actually contain the specific figure or quote it cited. You still have to manually verify sources for high-stakes reports, which slightly defeats the purpose of automated fact-checking. Also, thread context tends to drop if a conversation gets too long, forcing you to restart the search chain from scratch.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Standard AI models (like base ChatGPT) don't have real-time web access out of the box without browsing plugins, and their knowledge cutoffs lead to outdated answers. On the flip side, search engines just dump raw links without summarizing the context. Now perplexity bridges the gap between a search engine and an executive assistant. I use it to get quick summaries of industry news, vendor comparisons, and quick policy lookups during my day-to-day workflow. It frees up mental bandwidth and prevents tab overload.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how quickly Perplexity provides concise answers while also showing the source it used. It makes researching a topic much easier and gives me a good balance of speed, accuracy, and transparency.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the answers feel too brief or lack context, specially for complex questions. I also find that the quality of the response can vary depending on the source it retrieves.

It’s the best LLM for students. I used it during my time as a student to help write research papers, and it made the process easier and more manageable.

It sometimes provides generic answers, and it seems to have difficulty understanding changes in the prompt.

Perplexity is fast, intuitive, and easy to onboard. I value its accurate AI responses, source citations, web research, file and app integrations and smooth workflow. It saves research time, delivers strong productivity value, and requires little support to get started.

Sometimes the answers can sound overly confident even when sources are weak, so I still verify important information. Complex research can occasionally feel inconsistent or slower than expected. I’d also like better source control and fewer advanced features locked behind the paid plan.

Perplexity solves the problem of spending too much time searching across multiple websites to find reliable information. I use it for business research, software comparisons, technology research, and opportunity discovery. It helps me find, compare, summarize, and verify information far more quickly, which saves me time and supports better decision-making.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy intuitive interface, not too heavy on a pocket, speed of generating response and quality of answers. Support during onboarding is top notch.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far nothing comes to mind about dislikes but I would like to see options to notify my about preselected topics I'm interested with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Perplexity helps me with a wide range of tasks, I do search for programming source codes and scripts, I also research places before heading for holidays, I do ask about some health issues and advice just to confirm what I learned in university is still correct. There is no topic that Perplexity is not capable to help you with or at least direct you towards that topic.
