What do you like best about the product?

I love that Megaport is fully automated and API-driven, which makes everything really efficient and straightforward to use. The portal is straightforward, and the transparent pricing is a big plus because it makes quoting hassle-free. When a customer needs a connection, we can get it done in just 15 minutes. It's also great that the pricing is predictable since it gets populated directly into our catalog. Plus, the initial setup was extremely easy, which is another bonus.

What do you dislike about the product?

The pricing is significantly cheaper with longer commitments, which isn't suitable for us since we usually don't do those with our customers. We need more flexibility for MSPs like us who often add and remove circuits to accommodate on-demand customers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Megaport for automated and near-instant connectivity to public clouds, which is faster compared to alternatives.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Megaport incredibly valuable for improving connection speeds and simplifying our network architecture with true high availability. Switching to a true mesh network from MPLS and point-to-point connections or VPNs has been a game changer. I particularly like the deployment speeds and the capability to manage the platform as code, which aligns with our Terraform shop setup. This allows us to set anything up quickly compared to manual operations. It used to take weeks to get 10Gb connections, but with Megaport, it happens in less than a day. I also appreciate Megaport's open API, which we integrated into our in-house monitoring tool, making network monitoring seamless for us. Finally, the initial setup was extremely easy, and I would definitely recommend Megaport to a friend or colleague.

What do you dislike about the product?

The logs in Megaport could be more robust. We have to open tickets to get better logs on BGP changes, and the website lags about 5 minutes behind. But the big issue for us is that there's no monitoring solution that partners with Megaport.

Megaport is our connectivity backbone, providing faster connection speeds and a simpler architecture with true high availability. We transitioned from MPLS and VPNs to a true mesh network. Deployment speeds are impressive, setting up 10Gb connections in less than a day instead of weeks.

Availability - ease of connecting to cloud services

There is nothing we have found to dislike

MP supports our connectivity to cloud service providers.

The Customer Success team is fantastic—always very responsive and knowledgeable, and they’re happy to bring in technical colleagues when needed, even on short notice.

Nothing to report, the product works as expected and we are satisfied with support.

Megaport are providing access to data centres. PCI Pal can create secure networks to our carriers and customers.

Many things, very easy to use platform, all the products they offer are great, even multisite connectivity solutions, support is always on.

Nothing, they really are that good, honestly haven't found one

The dashboard is not very helpful. You should have videos on how to make certain changes.
