What do you like best about the product?

NX/Designcenter is a very powerful tool that helps us with 3D modeling during the product design phase. I really like how precise and detailed its modeling capabilities are, which makes it suitable for everything from simple parts to complex assemblies. With its strong integration with Teamcenter, NX becomes even more valuable for our overall process.

What do you dislike about the product?

The license cost is high. The licensing is tied to a bundle, and some of the features included in that bundle may not be required.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use 3D modeling in the early design phase, then translate it to JT and use it for 3D printing. Synera also has good integration. We used Agents to automate the process, which made the workflow smoother and more consistent.

All that a enterprise need about Cad, in one single platform

It is not possible to use the same tokens for both on-premise and cloud licenses simultaneously.

It is not necessary to have different software applications to meet the needs.

The best parts of Designcenter are its **unified all-in-one workspace** (covering everything from 3D modeling to simulation), **fast Synchronous Technology** for quick design changes, and **seamless Teamcenter integration** for managing complex assemblies and data.

The most common complaints about Designcenter are its **steep learning curve**, **high licensing and hardware costs**, and **occasional performance lag** when handling massive assemblies or complex imported files.

It streamlines design workflows, reduces manual effort, and improves collaboration, helping me work faster and with fewer errors.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Designcenter very easy for designing and drawing. It makes the design process much easier for designers, and I really like its integration with Teamcenter. We use Teamcenter as a single source of truth, storing all our data there, which makes the integration very helpful. The initial setup of Designcenter was very easy.

Designcenter makes designing and drawing easier, especially with its integration with Teamcenter for data management. This integration offers a seamless transition from Creo, simplifying our product design and data storage.

Menus are user friendly. Very easy to work

Huge assemblies are very hard to manage. Pipe routing shall be improved a lot

Making work easy..lot of menu options are improved

Easy to navigate UI. Liked the help button on most of the commands to get online documentation immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?

Working with STL data and converting to NX surfaces is horrible. Need AI capabilities in converting STL data to parametric. Lot of bugs reported and no tracking on those after converting to PR/ER. Support center response is horrible, they take their own time to respond and solve the issue. 3D PDF genertion is not good as compared to Anark. When dealing with large assemblies, very slow performance and goes to not responding mode and responds very lately. some times gets memory access violation error which no one know how to solve it.

Dynamic and user-friendly, with the flexibility and ability to customise it to my needs.

Overall, I don’t have many concerns about Designcenter.

I use Designcenter for CAD modeling, and it makes the process very simple. I like the interface a lot as it makes my work very easy. Additionally, I frequently use the Copilot tool, which is one of the key features for me.

What I feel about it is that the interface looks outdated.
