Sometimes new features are introduced which we don't necessarily want to use but can't turn off

Team and project management - more team morale, and clarity. Better performance.

It is an intuitive tool and centralises reporting.

I haven't used the tool long enough to know.

Duplicate reporting is currently a pain point for us so Asana allows for multiple reports to be extracted from one set of data.

I like that it helps keep me organized. I’m still learning how to use it, but it already makes a big difference in keeping everything in order.

What do you dislike about the product?

I can’t search for something if it’s in a custom field.

Task things to do around the office and with office staff

All tasks can be organized across different project boards, and each board can be managed and reviewed by different owners.

What do you dislike about the product?

The AI still isn’t advanced enough to help set up more organized templates, tasks, and similar items.

It helps me make sure nothing gets missed and that tasks are completed in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?

I'm starting a new business so price is vital and this meets that criteria. If i follow it, nothing will slip thru the cracks. Support is fantastic, the trainer was on point during the onboarding. And it integrates with Claude!

I'd love to not have to be a big company to get the full package.

Organizing my thoughts, tasks and ultimately giving me peace of mind.

What do you like best about the product?

The best part of Asana is how well it balances a clean, user-friendly UX with strong performance. Its automated workflows take care of repetitive task assignments with minimal effort, and the timeline views make it easy to track dependencies at a glance. The onboarding process was smooth, which helped our team start seeing a positive ROI almost immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?

My biggest pain point is the overwhelming default notification settings. If you don’t take the time to customize your inbox and email alerts early on, the sheer volume of updates can make it easy to miss crucial messages. The interface can also start to feel cluttered and hard to navigate when you’re managing projects with a lot of activity and content.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Asana, we struggled with siloed communication and had a hard time tracking tasks across endless email threads and spreadsheets. Now we can centralize project tracking in one place and automate task handoffs between departments. As a result, we’ve seen a major reduction in administrative work, saving our team an estimated 5 hours per week that used to go to status meetings and email updates.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Asana for its ability to assign tasks to people, which helps manage responsibilities effectively. The feature I enjoy most is using the Asana AI assistant, as it assists in creating projects by generating outlines and organizing them efficiently. Having different projects helps in clarifying task lists, ensuring that my team and I can manage our creative endeavors without missing any steps.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think assigning tasks to people and having visibility across multiple people is pretty impossible. Because when you go to your own dashboard, you can only see the tasks that are assigned to you. But even if you're a collaborator, you can't have eyes on that task. I also try to use it with Claude, but it doesn't work too well. Additionally, the initial setup was fairly easy, but there was definitely a learning curve at times.

I use Asana to organize thoughts, create projects, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. It helps delineate task lists and assign tasks effectively with the AI assistant.

The visual representation is clear, and the application is easy to use.

Can't see any drawbacks, it's pretty good and useful

I stay connected with the team on projects, and I can find them easily when I need to.

It anticipates all my needs and is highly customisable. intuitive to use, integrates with everything. helpful live sessions to understnd use, ai features helpful.

Project creation and management are easy and straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s hard to roll up all tasks to board members, since they likely can’t see every task if they aren’t included in all projects. That makes capacity planning feel weak.
