What do you like best about the product?

I find its approach to protecting enterprise data and enabling fast recovery from ransomware and other incidents especially compelling. From a QA perspective, I also appreciate that Rubrik touches on cloud technologies, APIs, distributed systems, automation, and data protection, which creates opportunities to tackle complex, meaningful testing challenges.

What do you dislike about the product?

The complexity of its technology, along with the broad range of areas it involves.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps businesses quickly restore critical data and applications after cyberattacks, accidental deletions, or system failures, making recovery smoother and more reliable when disruptions happen.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Rubrik's centralized approach to data protection, which makes backup recovery and data management much easier at the workplace. It also provides a clear view of the protected environment. Rubrik has helped me solve problems related to data protection and backup management, making it easier to protect important data and manage backups centrally. It has also reduced the complexity of handling backup and recovery processes.

What do you dislike about the product?

Rubrik can feel complex without proper documentation. It looks complex at first sight and takes time to learn where everything is and how to configure each setting and feature. A simpler interface and more straightforward flow could improve day-to-day use.

Rubrik solves my data security issues by keeping data secure and centralized. It simplifies data protection and backup management, reducing complexity in handling recovery processes. It's easier to manage backups and recover data, providing a clear view of the protected environment.

I appreciate Rubrik for simplifying data protection, which makes the backup and recovery process more efficient for me. The ransomware protection is another feature I really like, as it adds an extra layer of security. I also value the policy-based protection feature, which gives me more control over data management. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Rubrik to be relatively straightforward, which saved me a lot of time.

The UI could be simpler, as the current one is quite complex. I would prefer a more minimalistic design.

I use Rubrik for data backup and recovery, simplifying data protection and ensuring ransomware protection with its policy-based feature.

The biggest thing I like is how it is making data protection, straightforward. Having everything managed from single place and easier to keep track of backup and recovery. Clean interface.

It take a little while to get comfortable for me as new user with some advanced options. Once you understand the platform, then it’s easy.

It mainly helps with keeping backups organised and making sure that Data can be recovered when required. It also cuts down on manual work and makes monitoring easier.

To improve user experience, consider offering more tutorials for new users and simplifying advanced options.

Rubrik makes it easier to manage & protect data collectively, especially the simple sober interface, centralized visibility, and how easily it does backups & recovery without making the process complicated.

A minor downside is that Rubrik can take a little time to get familiar with, especially for new people using it. The initial setup and understanding all the features can feel a little overwhelming, and the overall cost may also be a consideration for smaller organizations.

Rubrik solve the problem of managing backups, data protection, and recovery. It gives us a centralized view of our data.This saves time for the IT team, reduces manual effort, and gives us more confidence that critical data can be recovered quickly when needed.

I really like that Rubrik has an immutable and append-only file system, making it impossible for attackers to modify, alter, or delete data during backups. Once data is written, it cannot be altered, overwritten, or modified by hackers, which gives a strong layer of security. Also, I found the initial setup very easy, which was a pleasant surprise.

I find the cost of Rubrik to be high, which can be a concern for budgeting. The architecture is also complex, making it harder to navigate, and I think the on-premises scalability is not as flexible as it could be. Additionally, there's limited orchestration for non-VM or cloud environments, which is a bit restrictive for certain use cases.

Rubrik stops business downtime and data loss from ransomware by creating immutable backups that can't be altered, with data protection managed centrally and easy system restoration.

I find troubleshooting could be improved by providing more detailed error messages and clearer insights into backup failures, which would help me resolve issues more quickly. I would also appreciate more detailed reporting, better customization options, and improved troubleshooting guidance. Regular product enhancements and easier access to relevant documentation would make the overall experience even better. While I haven't faced major compatibility issues, ongoing support for newer browser versions and integration would be beneficial.
