    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance type you run this software on. The listing covers many instance families, including compute-optimized (c3, c4), memory-optimized (r3, i2), general-purpose (m3, m4), storage-optimized (d2), and GPU (g2). Each family offers several sizes, from medium and large up to 8xlarge and 10xlarge. Larger sizes carry more compute resources and a higher hourly rate. You are not locked into a fixed term. You select the instance that fits your workload, and billing scales with the size and running time.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

The AWS EC2 instance type you select drives your hourly rate. Compute, memory, storage, and GPU families each carry different resource levels. Larger sizes provide more CPU and memory and bill at a higher hourly rate. You pick the instance matching your workload, and charges accrue for each hour the instance runs.
Software charges meter running time only. When you stop or power off the instance, hourly software charges stop accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the software license bills only for active running hours.
Endpoint Central MSP manages and secures client endpoints across Windows, Apple, Linux, and Android from one console. It covers patch management, remote access, application deployment, asset monitoring, OS deployment, and security controls. The instance you run it on affects only the hourly compute charge, not the endpoint features.

    Automated Patch Management Made Easy

    Reviewed on Sep 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature for me is the patch management. It is able to easily identify patch compliance and configure an automated patch deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in reporting has some areas for improvement. Specifically around custom report creating. This can be a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch compliance and custom package deployments were the two biggest challenges we had coming from our old platform. Endpoint central has the best patch management feature set I've used. The custom configuration deployment is fantastic as well. Very easy to use and the out of the box templates that it has are very good.

    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Inventory management is really helpful for me because it lets me quickly get system details and see an up-to-date overview of all systems within minutes. ManageEngine Endpoint Central offers excellent value for its cost by combining endpoint management, patching, software deployment, and remote support in a single solution. It helps reduce manual effort, improve productivity, and enhance endpoint security, making it a cost-effective investment for our IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and dashboard customization could be more intuitive and easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The remote management capabilities enable faster issue resolution with minimal disruption to end users. It also simplifies critical IT operations such as software deployment and patch management—tasks that would otherwise require manual effort across multiple devices to complete patch management.
