Upstash provides managed data services, messaging, and developer tools for building applications. Products include Upstash Redis, Upstash QStash, Upstash Vector, and Context7 Cloud Enterprise.
Upstash Redis
Upstash Redis is a serverless database service compatible with the Redis API. It supports use cases such as caching, session storage, rate limiting, and leaderboards. Developers can connect through HTTP-based APIs or compatible Redis clients without managing database infrastructure.
Upstash QStash

Context7 provides up-to-date, version-specific library and framework documentation and code examples to AI coding assistants and developer tools. It helps developers give their AI tools relevant reference material when writing code or working with unfamiliar APIs. Context7 Cloud Enterprise provides access to the Upstash-hosted service for an organization's development team. The applicable offer specifies the number of licensed users, subscription term, included usage, support, and any additional enterprise features.
Subscription scope and pricing
Each AWS Marketplace offer identifies the products and entitlements included in the purchase. Purchasing one product does not automatically include access to every Upstash product.
Features, usage limits, and pricing vary by product and plan. Offers may use usage-based pricing, a fixed-term subscription, or a negotiated private contract. For Context7 Cloud Enterprise, the applicable offer defines the subscription fee and included entitlements.

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
This contract uses two dimensions that work together. Your Base Contract Value sets the committed amount you agree to spend over the term. Upstash Consumption Units draw down against that commitment as you use the platform. You buy units to cover usage across the covered services, including Redis, Vector, and QStash. Pricing scales with how many units you consume, not with fixed plans or instance sizes. This structure suits variable usage under a single prepaid commitment. Contact the vendor to size your base contract to expected consumption.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A Consumption Unit is a prepaid credit that covers metered usage across the platform. As you run commands, store data, use bandwidth, or send messages, that activity converts into units drawn from your balance. Units are consumed by actual usage rather than by fixed instance sizes or seat counts.
Stored data still consumes usage even when idle. Storage is metered by the daily average of your total data size across replicas and regions, then billed at the end of the month. Deleting data or setting expiration timeouts reduces this. Only stored data and any traffic draw units; inactive query volume does not.
Command volume, stored data, and bandwidth all draw units and combine on one balance. Command volume usually dominates for high-traffic workloads, while storage leads for large, rarely-queried datasets. Global databases replicate writes to read regions, and each replication counts as an additional command against your units.
