You pay based on usage, not seats or hosts. AlertD Charge Units cover resource ingestion and AI work the agents perform, metered as you go. The agents read your AWS environment and price their effort by the work done. A second dimension applies only when your environment exceeds 10 million AWS resources. You are then charged per additional million resources, so pricing scales with the size of your cloud. There is no upfront annual commitment. You set budget caps to control spend, and both dimensions land on your existing AWS bill.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one AlertD Charge Unit represent, and how is agent work measured?
Charge Units cover resource ingestion and the AI work the agents perform. Effort is metered in tokens, the unit of an agent's work. The agents read your AWS environment, run tasks like discovery and analysis, and consume Charge Units based on that activity, not on seats or hosts.
When does the per-million extra AWS Resources charge apply, and how does it combine with Charge Units?
The extra resources charge applies only once your environment passes 10 million AWS resources. Below that threshold, you pay Charge Units alone. Above it, you pay per additional million resources on top of Charge Units. Both charges appear together on your existing AWS bill.
Can I limit how much I spend on usage-based charges?
Yes. You set budget caps and see how the agents use your credits. Spend is metered in tokens with hard caps you define. There is no upfront annual commitment, so charges accrue only as the agents perform work within the limits you set.

Vendor refund policy
AlertD is billed by usage only: no subscriptions, seats, or prepaid balances. You're charged only for completed, metered activity, and failed requests are never billed. Because nothing is prepaid, all charges are final and non-refundable. If you believe a charge is a billing error, email support@alertd.ai within 30 days with your AWS account ID and the charge in question, and we'll investigate and correct any verified error.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
