The main area for improvement is the learning curve for new users, especially when working with some of the more advanced features. The interface could also be more intuitive and modern, and better documentation or troubleshooting guidance would make it easier to resolve issues quickly.

The GenAI assistance speeds up code understanding and troubleshooting, while the automated testing features reduce manual efforts. I am really impressed with the streamlined CI/CD pipelines, which enhance deployment workflows. The software effectively simplifies the development and maintenance of mainframe applications, cuts down the time spent identifying issues, and helps developers work more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration of BMC AMI DevX with non-BMC tools complex, which can be a bit of a hassle. Also, sometimes it consumes a lot of resources, which can slow things down. Improving these aspects with standardized APIs, real-time webhooks, and unified data mappings would really help.
