AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance type you run this software on. The listing covers 34 instance choices across compute-optimized (c3, c4), memory-optimized (r3), general-purpose (m3, m4), storage-optimized (d2), high-I/O (i2), and GPU (g2) families. Within each family, hourly cost scales with instance size, from large up to 8xlarge or 10xlarge. You select the instance that matches your workload. There are no upfront commitments or fixed tiers; charges accrue per hour of use for whichever instance you choose.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged when an EC2 instance running this software is stopped or paused?
Hourly software charges accrue only while the instance runs. Fully stopped instances do not generate software charges. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software licence meters running time. Charges resume when you restart the instance.
What does the hourly rate cover, and how does it relate to the endpoint count in the title?
The hourly rate covers running this software on the chosen EC2 instance. The title reflects the Enterprise edition scoped for 250 computers and a single user. Endpoint Central manages desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices from one console, including patching, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting.
How do I choose among the 34 instance types, and what happens to cost if I switch?
You pick an instance matching your workload's compute, memory, storage, or GPU needs. Larger sizes within a family cost more per hour. If you switch instance types, billing changes to the new type's hourly rate from the moment it runs. No upfront commitment ties you to one choice.

The most helpful feature for me is the patch management. It is able to easily identify patch compliance and configure an automated patch deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in reporting has some areas for improvement. Specifically around custom report creating. This can be a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch compliance and custom package deployments were the two biggest challenges we had coming from our old platform. Endpoint central has the best patch management feature set I've used. The custom configuration deployment is fantastic as well. Very easy to use and the out of the box templates that it has are very good.
